We are expanding our team and are now recruiting for a salaried Chaplain role.

The contracted hours can be anywhere from 15 to 30 per week and we invite you to state your preferred working weekly hours in your application.

Working flexible shift patterns from 09:00 to 24:00. Shifts are 5 or 10 hours in length. This is a frontline ministry role where your faith, compassion, and resilience will directly help save lives. If you are interested, please download the application pack here.

We provide full training, a team uniform, and ongoing support. New chaplains receive a three-month induction combining classroom learning with hands-on mentoring, and you’ll always work as part of a team alongside experienced colleagues. Regular supervision and after-care are also part of our commitment to your wellbeing.

This role is open to Christians who can actively reflect the ethos of the Beachy Head Chaplaincy and demonstrate a personal Christian faith. If you’d like to understand more about why our chaplains are Christians, you can read more here
